At Attentive Home Inspection, I believe a home inspection shouldn’t be a source of stress, but a tool for confidence. As a longtime Lincoln Park resident, I don’t just work in Chicago—I live here and I know the unique DNA of our neighborhood’s architecture.

I bring a builder’s eye to every property I step into—a perspective rooted in my service as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and 22 years as a Chicago Police Officer. My career as a first responder taught me how to stay calm under pressure, evaluate complex situations, and maintain the kind of extreme attention to detail that only comes from decades of public service.

Before becoming an InterNACHI® and ICA Certified Professional Inspector, I spent years as a Union Carpenter working on residential and commercial projects across the city. Whether it’s a historic 1890s greystone or a sleek new-construction condo, I understand how Chicago homes are built from the framing up.

My goal is to provide you with an attentive, detail-oriented evaluation followed by a clear and concise report. I provide a straightforward roadmap of your home’s condition, so you can make your next move with total certainty.

When I’m not inspecting, you’ll likely find me golfing, exploring local street festivals, or enjoying a bike ride along the lakefront. Most of all, I treasure time spent at the park with our dogs and staying active with my family.
